A Technician is responsible for manufacturing and repair of quality products efficiently, accurately, safely and on time. A Technician uses specialised manufacturing equipment and instrumentation to manufacture the company’s products in accordance to company policy and safety regulations.

Technician jobs require duties such as:

  • trouble shooting and repairing complex mechanical and electrical assemblies
  • provides advice and feedback on corrective actions
  • performing in-process and final testing on product
  • performs routine equipment maintenance and limited troubleshooting activities as required
  • provides technical assistance and guidance to other technical workers
  • work with engineering on functionality issues and procedure updates
  • continually improve the setup, calibration and test procedures used on the new and service equipment orders

  • communicate with engineering on product performance and functionality issues
  • helping in the development of work instructions, batch records, equipment logs, material specifications and other device history documents
  • assisting with monitoring productivity by tracking yields and equipment cycle rates
  • assisting the Technical support team with customers needs for technical support
  • assisting with the installation, debugging and validation of process equipment
  • maintaining a clean and safe work area
  • following all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to supervisor
