A Shop Fitter plans, builds and finishes the interior of a shop, they choose, cut and shape the materials to create the interior as designed. Shop Fitters may also be required to complete the shop front and entrance, as well as the interior of shops, banks, offices, restaurants and bars. Shop Fitters are responsible for coordinating deliveries, various trades contractors who carry out tasks such as the flooring, ceilings, installing counters and display cabinets, painting and decorating, install electrical wiring and plumbing.
